How is your 2018 shaping up?

We've been back at work for a few weeks and have, apparently, made it through the Blue Monday" milestone - the most depressing day of the year. It quite possibly passed like every other day, or maybe, just maybe, it was better.

Have you started your year as you mean to go on?

If you managed to sit down with yourself pre-Xmas and dip into my 20 End-of-Year Reflection Questions then fantastic - you'll know what you spent most of last year doing - and may already know what you'll be doing different this year. But, if you haven't given your 2018 much thought yet, then now is the time to contemplate on what you want;

  • want to change
  • want to learn
  • want to achieve
  • want to be

Because, quite frankly, it's not going to arrive on a plate. And that statistic - the one that says people who write down goals are 33% more likely to achieve them - might just be worth embracing.

So go ahead, take a lunch hour, maybe with a good friend (questions are best asked by another person so that your mind can't side-step them!) and ask each other some pertinent "New Year Vision Questions". You know the saying: Design your 2018, before someone else does it for you.
