Join me on March 16th at the NAWIC (National Association for Women in Construction) Breakfast Club, where I will be talking about personal resilience.
In the construction industry we read and hear about designing for resilient cities or how to incorporate resilience as a design objective. We are constantly reminded of how important this is in times of economic downturn, natural disasters, resource fluctuations and other events worldwide. I'd like to harness this theme, make it more personal and talk about your Personal Resilience. We all get 'knocked for six' at some point in our career - whether it be negative - redundancy, illness, confidence and stress; or positive - new job/role, stretching our comfort zone, promotion or other successes. I'll be covering what resilience is and giving my top tips for improving your personal resilience levels.
Thursday, 16 March 2017 from 09:30 to 11:30 (GMT), 6 St Chad's place, WC1X 9HH, London.
